Scandinavian Sleeping & LivingnnJYSK is an international retail chain of Danish origin that sells “everything for the home”. It was founded by Lars Larsen, who opened his first store in the Danish city of Aarhus in 1979. JYSK now runs 2,800 stores and employs around 23,000 people in 52 countries worldwide. Although JYSK is a global company today, it is managed on the basis of its Scandinavian roots, which is reflected in its culture and the way it does business. JYSK has been present in Poland since 2000. The head office of JYSK Poland is in Gdańsk. The chain is growing fast, opening more than a dozen new stores every year, and it also sells online. In Poland JYSK employs over 2,300 people.
